The candy lady would reach her silver scoop in and dish that beautiful candy onto a scale and deftly measure out an allowance's worth of yummy-ness before she bagged it into a paper bag and sent you off, pocket's empty of coins but hands full of candy, straight to a sugar high that made your mom send you outside till you came down from it.

I've recreated those delicious wonders of candy perfection and confection. Right down to shiny eye catching colors (in this month's GS Buffet palette) including the slightly dinged edges from encounters with that glorious candy scoop and of course, the banging around in the bag as we picked through for the perfect piece.
