This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices for https://gingerscraps.net and all its sub-pages such as the forum & gallery. This privacy policy applies solely to information collected by this web site. 

 

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

 

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request.

 

Wherever we collect sensitive information, that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the top or bottom of your web browser or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page. As of today, our shop is secure, we plan to have the entire site secure by June 2018. 

 

Your Access and Control Over Information:

You may opt out of any future contacts, request the deleting of any accounts (in the shop or forum/gallery) or removal form our newsletter at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us: Contact Us

 

Our Shop and Placing Orders:

If you choose to make a purchase (both paid and free orders) you will need to create an account in our shop. Our shop and forum/gallery have two separate accounts (although you can use the same info to create both, the accounts are separate). To create an account, we will need to obtain your first name, last name, email address and a username and password. Your password is always protected, not even our highest-level admin will ever be able to see your password, you and only you have access to that info. We use your email to send your purchase/download links to you. Our designers/providers get an invoice after you place an order, they will see the first name, last name and email address you used to create your shop account. Admin have access to all of the above listed account info and your IP address to track downloads if necessary. 

If we have trouble processing your order, we will use your email to contact you. 

 

We use PayPal to process all payments our site never asks, for nor stores, ANY payment information. PayPal payments are redirected to the PayPal website and processed directly through the user’s PayPal account. Only Ginger (the shop owner) has access to the PayPal records. PayPal records provide the buyer’s first and last name, email address, mailing address (if listed in the buyers PayPal account) transaction dollar amount, and transaction ID number from PayPal, allowing Us to track payment inquiries if needed.

 

Forum/Gallery:

In order to fully use this websites forum/gallery, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give certain information (such as username and email address). Optionally, you may also provide demographic information (such as gender, age or birthday) about yourself, but it is not required. If you provide your birthday you might receive a birthday gift or message via email. If you do not want to receive such gift or email messages, do not fill out your birthday when creating your account. If at any time you want to remove yourself from any birthday messages, Contact Us and we can remove your birthday information from your account. The Forum/Gallery will also log your IP address which can be viewed by our site admin if needed.

 

Blog Comments:

Our blog is a Wordpress site and uses standard Wordpress processes for collecting information when a visitor adds a comment to a post, which includes first and last name, email address, and IP address. Your choice to leave a comment on our blog is voluntary. By making a comment to a post on our blog you consent to the collection of this information.

 

Newsletter:

Our newsletter, which we deliver by email to subscribers, is administered through PHPlist. When you subscribe to our newsletter, PHPlist collects and stores your name and email address in their system. PHPlist tracks individual subscriber's opens and click-throughs for each email for the purpose of helping us improve our newsletter service and to track the effectiveness of our marketing.

 

You may edit and update your subscriber information by clicking the Change Subscriber Options link at the bottom of any newsletter. You may unsubscribe from our newsletter list at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our newsletters. We will delete your subscriber data upon request. If we delete your subscriber data, you will no longer receive newsletter communications from us.

 

Support Ticket System:

Our Support Ticket System uses standard processes for collecting information when a visitor opens a support ticket including first and last name, email address and your message. Our Support Ticket System also collects your IP address. Our customer service team members will have access to this info and will use it to provide you with a resolution to your issue. By creating a ticket in Our Support Ticket System you consent to the collection of this information.

 

Cookies

We use "cookies" on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor's hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, you can check the "remember me" box in the forum/gallery to let us "remember you" thereby saving time while on our site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site.
