We spent 31 years living in Ecuador. Dia de los muertos, was celebrated every November 2nd, and was a huge family celebration. Ecuador had their own take on the celebration, making an amazing hot fruit drink, called "Colada Morada" and they baked bread dolls called, "Guagas de Pan".
