Easter was always a special holiday for me. All the preparation… shopping for a new dress and shoes. Sometimes even a hat and purse. Then there was coloring the eggs, and my Mom usually made these amazing coconut or peanut better eggs, she dipped in chocolate and decorated with tiny flowers. There was always one with my name on it. Then of course there was the basket full of candy, and special services at church to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus. Church was always followed by an amazing dinner, usually ham, but could be anything special… if family was near then we would all be together. This kit was inspired by my amazing childhood memories and then even my memories of following the same traditions with my own family.
