From 4th grade until I was married, my family lived in NJ, just 35 miles west of NYC. Our town was actually the end of the line for the commuter train that went into the City. I remember the amazing excitement every time we took a “trip” into the city. Usually with friends that had come to visit us, to show them the sights. :) I loved those trips to the city. For our 20th wedding anniversary my hubby and I spent 3 days in the City. We stayed in a little hotel, ate at some fun restaurants, went to museums, Ellis Island, (which had not been open when we were kids) and took in 2 broadway shows. It was an amazing time, packed with sweet memories. New York has been one of my favorite places to visit, and those memories have served as inspiration for this kit.
